David Bloom paid his Dilbert dues at IBM and StorageTek, and at Unisys, where he was mentored by the legendary Roy Beers.

In 1995, David co-founded the Factotem Constellation, and grew it into a network of 60 senior-level information professionals. Factotem provides virtual teams to tackle tough IT development, marketing, M&A and due-diligence projects.

David is currently CTO of Optimization Group, a Detroit-based market research firm that uses brain-hacking technology and scary math to figure out what people really want.  Clients include little companies like ABN-AMRO, GM, H-P, and Microsoft.
