J. Stott Matthews  founder and Principal of Spectrum Computer Forensics and Risk Management LLC

Stott has over sixteen years of increasingly responsible experience in the high-tech, manufacturing, and finance industries.  In creating Spectrum, Matthews sought to combine his recent high-tech experience with his background in finance, audit, and operations.  Prior engagements include clients at large full-service law firms as well as small, general-practice firms, with cases ranging from multi-million dollar corporate civil litigation to criminal cases.  Matthews has spoken on the subject of electronic discovery and computer forensics, with audiences including local litigators and courts. Matthews is one of only 270 EnCase® Certified Examiners (EnCE). Among his prior positions, Matthews served as Director of Finance in the high-tech joint venture between DaimlerChrysler, Ford and GM, where he was a member of the executive team and as Vice President - Controller of Chrysler Corporation’s Japanese subsidiary.  Matthews earned his MBA from the Columbia Graduate School of Business and his BA in Economics and East Asian Studies from Bucknell University.
