Eric M. Pless   Senior VP Marketing/Business Development, MidWest Financial Credit Union

Eric has spent over 15 years in the financial services and insurance industry in sales and Senior Management and came to MidWest Financial Credit Union in 2004 from AIG American General, Financial Institutions Division.  Eric is also a Major in the Michigan Army National Guard and has served in the U.S. Army for more than 21 years in the Communications and Information Systems Security Field.  Major Pless is the Director of the Michigan Army National Guard Computer Emergency Response Team (CERT).  The CERT Team works in conjunction with the Michigan Army National Guard, the State of Michigan and the Department of Homeland Security to protect, secure, and defend information systems from vulnerabilities and compromise.  Eric serves on the State of Michigan Strategic Elder Abuse Quick Response Team (SEAQRT) as a representative for Michigan Credit Unions and MidWest Financial Credit Union and is also an associate board member of the Ypsilanti Area Chamber of Commerce.  Eric is a Magna Cum Laude graduate of Cleary University with a Bachelor’s of Business Administration and is Level III Certified with the U.S. Army and National Security Agency for Information Systems Security and holds a Secret Security Clearance.
